The original Pharmacy Relief Network started in 1997 and was the first pharmacy locum service in Canada.
It was designed to fill locum positions with qualified, competent pharmacists. The original service predated the internet and was conducted via phone and fax. It was very labor intensive and a huge challenge to fill the required postings. Over time, other services appeared and the owners of Pharmacy Relief Network decided to move on to other ventures.
The new owners have decided to reinvent the service to fill a gap in the industry. The current options for pharmacists and pharmacies are limited, not user friendly, and charging high rates for little service.
PRN has created a system based on
fairness and longevity.
The old Pharmacy Relief Network based its business model on repeat business that was driven by providing a needed product at a fair price. It’s time to restart that concept.
